Privacy policy

This notice explains how personal data is processed when you use Photo Map, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

1. Data controller

The controller is Kfive di Chiozza Giovanni s.a.s. (Photo Map service), contactable at info@kfive.it.

2. Data collected

Account: e-mail, display name, password (stored encrypted).
Content: routes, GPS tracks, coordinates, descriptions, uploaded photos and videos.
Technical: session cookie for authentication, system logs.
Consent: acceptance of this policy (date, version, language).

3. Purpose and legal basis

Service delivery — contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Registration — contract and consent (Art. 6(1)(a) and (b)).
Security — legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).

4. Public routes

If you enable Public route, the trip becomes accessible to anyone with the link. You are responsible for what you publish.

5. Retention

Data is kept while your account is active. You can delete your account, routes and media from the Account menu in the app, or contact the controller by e-mail.

6. Third parties

Data is not sold. Technical providers (hosting, map tiles) may process data only to operate the service.

7. Cookies

A session cookie is used for login. Language preference is stored in localStorage. No advertising cookies.

8. Your rights

Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and complaint to your supervisory authority. Use Delete account in the app or write to info@kfive.it.

9. Security

We use appropriate measures (encrypted passwords, authenticated access, per-account data isolation).

10. Changes

This policy may be updated. Material changes may require renewed acceptance.
