📍 Photo Map — Quick guide

Build interactive trip maps with GPS tracks, photos and videos.

What is Photo Map

Photo Map lets you create interactive maps of your trips: GPS track, points of interest, and photos/videos at each stop.

1. Sign in

1. Open the site URL.
2. Click Register (email + password, min. 8 characters).
3. Next time, use Sign in.
4. Change language with the flags (top right).

Each account sees only its own routes.

2. Create a route

1. Click ＋ New Route.
2. Enter a name → Create.
3. Open it from SAVED ROUTES.

3. Upload GPS track

• 🗺️ Load GPX / KML / KMZ, or
• Drag a .gpx, .kml or .kmz file onto the map.

Use ⊞ Fit Map to frame the track.

4. Points and media

1. 📌 Add Point → click map → Save.
2. Open the carousel from a marker.
3. Upload with ＋ Media or drag & drop.
4. Add a caption and save with 💾.

Fullscreen: click the image or the ⛶ button (bottom right on hover).

5. Share a trip

1. Select the route.
2. Enable 🌐 Public route.
3. Click 📋 Copy link.

The link opens that trip only, read-only. Example: http://yourserver:8082/v/abc123...

6. View Mode

👁️ View Mode hides editing controls — preview what visitors will see.

7. Export (optional)

• 📦 Export ZIP — standalone package.
• 🌐 Export for Hosting — folder for web hosting.
